Evaluation of Natural Enemy Abundance Based on Riparian Vegetation at Rice Field in Slamet Village, East Java, Indonesia

Riparian vegetation habitats in irrigation canals provide various ecosystem regulatory services for human life, one of them was providing natural enemies agricultural pests. This study aims to analyze the abundance at paddy field, then figure out interaction between riparian and based on four different locations tertiary Slamet Village. Arthropods were observed by visual control yellow pan trap methods. Whereas, sampling points determined purposive sampling. The measured described important value index (INP), abundance, Shannon-Wiener diversity (H'), evenness (E), dominance (Id), taxa richness (TR). analyzed PAST 3.20 program. results showed that first location had highest Index value, richness, evenness, lowest with respectively 4.97; 37 species; 0.93; 0.02. Moreover, it following (16 species), total (4450 individuals), H' (2.37), (0.59), low (0.27). act as commonly found this came from Formicidae, Coenagrionidae, Coccinelidae families, while most common pests are Acrididae families. opposite that, fourth pest arthropods (0.15; 0.84), H’ (2.31), (0.77), arthropod (942 individuals). Pests inhabit Acrididae, Drosophilidae, Tephritidae, Aphididae families
